CATCH YOUR BREATH

represents the existence of elements without depicting an actual landscape. Similar to the meditative practice of observational drawing, hanging clothes on a line is a practice in patience and in repetition, striking notice of minute details. The companion installation reflects on the artist’s change in interior environment since staying home with a child. Landscape is represented through filters of  painted floral textiles and illustrations of vintage nature-motifs redrawn onto paper.
