This painting tessellates the image of an owl by Blanche Fisher Wright from the “Real Mother Goose” in a surreal dream-like landscape and was inspired by my family and I spotting a pair of owls in the winter of the pandemic. The series documents the surreal experience of something amazing happening over and over again.
